DG8K began as the original musical endeavor of Dan Grayson. It's an acronym that stands for "Dan Grayson and his Amazing Eight Thousand Dollar Guitar". DG8K has settled into being the official solo project of Dan Grayson, a source of music made by Dan that's distinctly different from the other projects. Sound wise, it's more personal and less serious, it's quirky, it's naively charming, it's pretty, and it's rocking. Dan may also be known to you as a founding member of The Moops (which later became Fan Fiction) as lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, drummer of The Karabal Nightlife, or visionary behind the soon to be realized Yes Means Yes.
